RAFAKidz Benson offers a range of childcare options for children aged 6 months to 11 years.

Located on station at RAF Benson, we are proud to serve military personnel, families, and the local community by providing experiences that are special, unique and child focused. We put parents’ priorities and children’s development front of mind ensuring we work together to understand individual needs and requirements. We provide government funded places for two, three, and four year olds. From the extensive outdoor space to the five bespoke rooms designed for a range of ages, handpicked staff, nutritious meals, and much more – there’s plenty of reasons to choose RAFAKidz Benson for your child.

Year-round opening

We provide childcare all year round (excluding one week at Christmas), offering you flexibility and choice.

Bespoke rooms

Six bespoke rooms designed for babies, toddlers, and pre-school.

Sleeping area

When children are tired, we provide comfortable and quiet sleeping areas. Our staff work with you to understand your child's sleeping arrangements.

Toilet training

We will fully support your child with toilet training as its important they develop their own independence when using the toilet.

Outdoor play

We believe outdoor play is important to your child’s development. Each of our bespoke rooms has a well equipped outdoor area for your child to explore.

Special Educational Needs

We recognise that children are individuals with their own personalities, needs and preferences. Our trained staff will work closely with you and other professionals to identify any additional support that is required to meet your child's needs.

Meet our nursery manager, Michelle Williams

Since achieving my NNEB qualification in 1989, I have built extensive experience across a range of early years settings, taking on diverse roles and responsibilities throughout my career. As a mature student, I completed my degree while continuing to develop my professional expertise, driven by a longstanding passion for early years education and the profound impact high-quality nursery provision can have on young children. Although I do not come from a military background, since 2014 I have proudly led a dedicated team of exceptional practitioners at RAF Benson, delivering outstanding support to military families and ensuring their children receive the best possible start in life.
