At Cranwell, we offer wraparound care throughout term and during school holidays, giving you peace of mind all year round.
Breakfast and After School Club
We provide a breakfast and after-school service for children aged four to 11 years old that attend Cranwell Primary School. We start the day at 0730hrs, when children are offered a selection of fruit, cereals, yogurts, toast, milk and water. The children have an opportunity to access a range of resources and activities before being transported to school from approximately 0815hrs in our own two minibuses. All children have booster seats and three point seat belts and staff have the relevant training to drive. All our children and staff where high viz jackets so they can easily be seen and identified. We also liaise with you and the school to make sure messages are passed on.
We begin to collect the children from Cranwell Primary School from 1500hrs and bring them back to RAFAKidz. The children have their own dedicated space indoors and outdoors across two buildings where they can play games, talk with their friends, do homework and have a snack or opt for a two-course tea (extra charges apply). Grasshoppers (Reception – Year 2) have their own building and Scorpions (Year 3 – Year 6) are in a separate building.
We provide a holiday club for children aged four to 14 within the school holidays for children in the local area. Children have their own dedicated space where they can play games and talk with their friends. Staff plan a range of themed activities, tournaments, sports and games and celebrations throughout the year. Children go on visits within the local community such as a visit to the nearby stables, or the station cinema.
Our breakfast, after school and holiday club operates the same opening and closing times as our nursery so that you can drop off and collect siblings easily.
Once we have allocated your place, we will arrange a starting date and settling in sessions with you and your child so that you can get to know us. During these sessions a member of staff who is likely to become your child’s key person will complete ‘all about me’ information with you. This is where we can share information about likes and dislikes, food needs and preferences, sleeping, favourite activities and where they are developmentally.
HAF Programme – Holiday Activities and Food Programme

You may be entitled to a free place through the voucher scheme run by Lincolnshire County Council and accessed through your school, if your child has free school meals or has a disability. Please contact your child’s school for more information on the vouchers.
