Everyone needs a co-pilot
Before your child joins RAFA Kidz, we’ll organise some happy landing sessions. These sessions give your family the opportunity to get settled into the nursery and they’re an excellent opportunity for you and your child to meet their key person. We see your child’s key person as your family’s co-pilot. We believe a continuous child/co-pilot bond is crucial to their happiness and development at nursery, so we work hard to ensure they will be with them every day.
Knowing all about your child’s time at nursery is important to you. That’s why we have parent partnerships. We’ll communicate with each other to ensure we’re all working together to make your child’s early years fun for everyone involved. Updates will come through your child’s dedicated co-pilot and there will be lots of opportunity for parental feedback.
Here’s what to expect:
Daily, verbal reports on your child’s day
Regular updates about nursery news
Parent partnership meetings to discuss your child’s progress
Health advice notices
A website that has all of our information and news
Your child’s transition from nappies is a massive milestone for the whole family. We fully support your potty training efforts; all we ask is that you bring in some nappies and spare clothes for those occasional accidents!
A breath of fresh air
We try to get the kids out into the fresh air as much as possible. We have outdoor games and activities and we’ve got a brilliant outdoor play area with a sensory igloo, climbing frame and mud kitchens. Your child will love it!
The safety of your child is paramount to us, and we have a tried and tested system for the stress-free and safe collection of your child. This system requires all un-registered visitors to engage with a RAFA Kidz employee to gain access.
At RAFA Kidz, we’re fully OFSTED registered and we abide by their safety and quality regulations. All of our employees are trained and DBS checked to ensure the safety of your child as well as delivering a high standard of care.
Policies and procedures
We’re doing our bit for the environment, and we’ve saved a tree or two by not printing all our policies. You can find everything you need in the policies section.
